Tap Into Freedom: Unlock Healing with EFT
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), commonly known as "tapping," is a holistic practice that combines elements of ancient Chinese acupressure and modern psychology to address emotional and physical issues. By tapping on specific meridian points on the body while focusing on particular emotions or problems, individuals aim to restore balance to their body's energy system, potentially alleviating stress, anxiety, and other negative feelings.

How EFT Tapping Works
EFT is based on the premise that negative emotions and unresolved issues disrupt the body's energy flow. By tapping on designated points—primarily on the head and face—while concentrating on the issue at hand, it's believed that one can release these energy blockages, leading to emotional relief and improved well-being.

The EFT Tapping Process
Practicing EFT involves a series of steps:

Identify the Issue: Focus on a specific problem or emotion causing distress.

Assess the Intensity: Rate the emotional or physical discomfort on a scale from 0 to 10 to establish a baseline.

Set Up a Statement: Create a phrase that acknowledges the issue and expresses self-acceptance, such as, "Even though I feel anxious about this meeting, I deeply and completely accept myself."

Perform the Tapping Sequence: Using your fingertips, tap on the following meridian points while repeating the setup statement:

Eyebrow

Side of the Eye

Under the Eye

Under the Nose

Chin

Collarbone

Under the Arm

Reassess the Intensity: After completing the sequence, rate the intensity again. Repeat the process until the discomfort diminishes to a satisfactory level.
